So I'm just gonna do a section giving props and opinions in a review of Beyonce's 4 album. This woman has done amazingly in her career, group and solo; she has crossed over many genres, appealed to the mass of the masses just doing her!
I respect and love her greatly for many reasons, some being that FIRSTLY, even though she has so many haters, critics and illuminati shit stirrers (lol)...she just gets the hell on, gives her all and smashes it no matter what. SECONDLY, even though she did the whole 'female empowerment' thing, she didn't go on as if she didn't ever need a man...she stayed an independent woman AND bagged herself a top don so even if jay z was to eff up and leave for some reason it wouldnt be any skin off her chicken, and thats how you do it ladies! THIRDLY, I respect how she is so in control of herself despite her holloywood lifestyle in relation to aspects such as keeping her private life private: she doesn't divulge information she deems personal...be that her relationship with jay z, rumours concerning her father and other things.
ANYWAY I said I'd chat about the album, so here goes...
I think this album shows how B matured since her last album (vocally and talent-wise) ; the emotions that can be felt through the songs are just epic. She really embodied effortless class with this album. There are 13 tracks on it....
1. 1+1
This is a love song with a simple yet classic feel to it. It is very soulful and sexy. I personally think her and jay z knocked boots to this one, you can just feel the message of her love to him, it's really nice and makes you wanna have that special person of your own.

2. I care
This song is her singing about her still caring about a partner that simply doesn't. Again she does a brilliant job of switching between the ranges of her voice and rhythms in the song. The simplicity of the intro music accompanied by her powerful entrance into the chorus blends so well.

3. I miss you
A soft and sultry number. Written by Frank Ocean, B beautifully executed this one. I love how she annunciates the 'why is thaT' at the start and how it's just her voice with simple backing instruments before it is accompanied by an undertone and how the song goes from her gently singing to delivering such powerful notes. Such a heart-warmer.

4. Best thing I never had
BREAK UP ANTHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEMMMMM!!!!!
In this one, B goes back to her 'Irreplaceable' section and again basically tells an ex where to stick it and go! You can just hear the happiness and confidence in her voice, it's such a good sing-a-long tune and even better if the message relates directly to you.
I BET IT SUCKS TO BE YOU RIGHT NOW :P

5. Party
Ok the first version of this I actually heard was the fast one with B, Andre, Kanye and Drake and wasn't too sure about this slow version people were telling me about BUT it is very nice, I warmed to it. It has a chilled old skool fun feel to it and Andre 3000's bit fits in very nicely. O yeah, and Kanye's intro and outro is cute too.

6. Rather die young
OK....three one word phrases come to mind when you talk about this song...
DEVOTED! SPRUNG!! CRAZY!!!
B, as usual, sings her lungs out with some good notes in here and you can totally tell she's head over heels for her man...my girl's declaring she'd rather die young than live life without the man Jay. Now, erm, I'm a big fan of a love story and all that but saying I'll die rather than live without my man....naaah fam, I'll be ok, I'd rather not. I'd rather you die than live your life without me lool :)

7.Start Over
There's only one bit that really does it for me in this song, that's the powerful chorus. The way she belts out the notes on the third 'Let's start over' in the main choruses and the whole of the last chorus just grips me!
My girl went in!

8. Love on top
Another one with an old skool, funk, jackson 5 feel to it. This song has the works...the finger snaps, the horns, the stop and start drop in the hook, the ooh ohh's and the amazing pitch changes. The pitch changes give alot to this song...its the funnest part of the song as well as the part that most shows off B's stunning vocal abilities.
MY GURL CAN SAAAAAANG!!!

9. Countdown
Now when I first heard this song I didn't quite know what to think...all I said was 'The tune sounds a bit random' and I stick by that BUT the song stuck. It's a fun sing-a-long song with some favourite phrases and hey...a bit of education for the illiterates up in the club...
GRIIIND UP ON IT GIRL SHOW 'EM HOW YOU RIDE IT!

10. End of time
CERTIFIED BANGER!!!
It's like a mix of green light, freakum dress and bug-a-boo all in one, its SIK!!!
There's such a mix of tones, tunes and talent in this song I don't even have to talk...just go and listen to it, it's one that def can't be skipped on the album!
i will love you sooo....DEEPLY!!!

11. I was here
B stops all the lovestruck, fun sing-a-longs and empowerment numbers and slips in this conscious one that speaks about one making a mark on earth. Needless to say, her voice is amazing.
I'd like this to be played at my funeral.

12. Run the world (Girls)
BACK TO BASICS!!!
B definately channelled her destiny days with yet another female empowerment song over Major Lazer's 'Pon de floor' beat. The beat is undoubtebly addictive and will force anybody to buss a move. B got alot of stick for this song but I think she took a mans beat, did her thing, and even though its not the best song on the album, still made bucks from it *shrugs*...DEN GET BACK 2 BIDNIZZ

13. Schoolin Life (Bonus Track)
Anotha old skool one...B added this just coz she can! Producing a very ghetto Prince-esque hip swayer where she sings about different ages and growing up.
This album is B's best work yet. The album is SO good, that's why she can afford to bring out videos that don't really depict the greatness of the songs...she knows how good they are regardless!
ANYWAYS DOG BREATHS IMMA GO NOW...
COP THE ALBUM AND GET VIBEZZZZIN!!!
LOVE PEACE AND CHICKEN GREASE!!!
